Audiophilia isn't a syndrome, it's a lifestyle
We heard you like fine audio. The finest audio actually. You don’t just hear music. You hear into music. The depth. The layers. The complexity. If the world is Beats by Dre, you’re a big, beautiful pair of open-back planars. You’re different, just like us.
We’re Feral, a digital design and development studio in Portland. We work with entrepreneurs and their teams to build brands, bring ideas to life, and sell more product online. Some of those teams, like JDS Labs, happen to be hardcore audiophiles. So if you have 8 pairs of headphones, 4 different amps, and 2 DACs on your desk right now, we know you like bringing a rocket launcher to a knife fight. We do the same with websites. We go above and beyond what the average person thinks is “good enough.” We work until we can’t make something better and then we make it better anyway.
You know, it’s not easy being this committed to quality and craftmanship. In our case, some may even say it’s a mental disorder. We couldn’t agree (or disagree) more.
We are Feral.

One thing I love about Timmy and Sterling is the things they notice that others don’t, like how our CEO is wrong about literally everything.

When Sterling spat out his first sip of a new drink we were releasing, asking indignantly “What loser would ever drink this s***?” it was a real wake up call for our company.

In many ways, my professional life has been defined by missed opportunites and regret. I count hiring Feral to be one of the few decisions I haven’t come to hate.
